The MROC has a top speed of 3 MPH. From previous modifications, the code varies the pulse width modulation output from 0 to 150 in steps of 40 ms to reduce the acceleration with a max speed of 1.75 MPH. “In a set of 10 forwards and reverses measurements, the 16 GB SD card measured only 11 KB in size. A 16 GB SD card will record over a million forwards and reverses. A 1 GB card can record about 10,000 forwards and reverses.” -Dr. Ventura. And yeah as Stacy mentioned, we did some calculations on a sample text file and determined how much data can fit into a 16 GB SD card.

We used the USB connection for basically all of the designs. However, the second version of the test circuit implementation sometimes freezes. So we can run a 9V AC to DC connection to get sufficient power. Otherwise, we used the USB connection.

An issue I had was mainly working on the code and including the right libraries for it. It took a lot longer than it should.

The most rewarding aspect of working on this project is that I was able to develop my skills and contribute to this cause at the same time. I was also able to develop my team-building skills and communication skills working with Stacy for these past couple of months.
